Records of the North Shore Mothers' Clubs, 1939-1988. These records consist of three separate groups of one larger organization, the first one being the North Shore Young Mother's Club, started in 1927. The other two: the North Shore Junior Mother's Club and the North Shore Mothers Study Group were formed as the women aged and continued to want to be involved. The Study Group was for mothers whose children were older and it was founded in 1939. The Junior group was for mothers whose children were 6 years old and older and was formed in 1958. |
