Admin/Biographical History |
On November 28, 2000, Kathy Hussey and Melinda Kwedar went to the Woman's Club to advise them on their archives. They recommended that best route would be to hire an archivist to start on preservation and cataloguing and to supervise volunteers. An experienced eye overseeing the project would mean that the work would be done correctly and that someone would be available if volunteers had questions. On December 19, 2001 Ms. Ruth Smith, President of the Woman's Club of Wilmette at 930 Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette, Illinois 60091 oversaw the donation of much of its archives to the Wilmette Historical Museum. The deed of gift form was signed and returned on January 9, 2002. |
