Its purpose is to promote gardening and improve the natural beauty in the community of Indian Hill Estates West, Wilmette, that area defined in the Club's by-laws as "bounded on the west by the west side of Illinois Road, on the south by the north side of Lake Avenue, on the east by the west side of Illinois Road and on the north by the south side of Illinois Road" and also "west of Romona Road formed by the extension of Iroquois Road." |
