Description |
Component of a Wilmette Police Officer's uniform. Pieces in the donation consist of two shirts, pants, hat, utility belt, outer carrier or vest, and pair of shoes. All are mostly dark blue (this belt is black) in color. Utility belt, utility rig, or duty belt. The belt is made of thick black nylon webbing. Pinch clasp for opening, with hook and loop section for waist measurement adjustment. On reverse: "ITW Nexus / TRS 211." Holders and containers can be moved along the belt or removed altogether. Each holder appears to be from a different manufacturer. .006A) Baton holder. Black rounded holder for a baton has "BIANCHI" label. .006B-C) Radio pouch and base. Black base with a metal plate with vertical open area to accommodate the holder for the radio. Radio case is leather or a leather-like material. There is a metal plate along with two metal D-rings at back. Front has a strap with a snap for holding the radio in. At top inset in white caps: "MOTOROLA." Perforations in leather to assist audio. .006D) Handcuff holder. Holder with one center snap, has "UNCLE MIKE'S" on reverse. .006E) Handgun holster is molded plastic with a number of guards and coverings at top. Impressed into side: "6360-832 / GLOCK 17/22 / IT M3 LIGHT / 48/17." This holder can also accommodate a flashlight. (The Glock 17 is a 9mm cal pistol and the Glock 22 is a .40 cal pistol. They have the same size frame. The holster is made for a pistol with a light attached, which would be a Streamlight brand, model M3, tactical light.
