Description |
The Masonic officer jewel for the Junior Warden, made of a light silver metal and attached to a blue rope lanyard. The Junior Warden's jewel is a plumb, a stonemason's tool used to check the alignment of a vertical surface. It symbolizes upright behavior among Masons. This jewel includes floral details and space for a dangling metal bead that is absent. The Junior Warden is the third of the three principal officers of a lodge. He sits in the south, symbolic of the sun at midday. He is in charge of supervising the lodge while it is at refreshment, or recess for meals or other social purposes. He is also often in charge of arranging meals for the lodge. |
