Description |
Kerosene floor lamp and glass globe with metal base. .006A) Floor lamp. Top portion has a globular metal container for holding kerosene and a wick. It is connected to an arm made of cut-out metalwork using a leaf-like design. The arm is connected to a long metal pole with a threaded base. Pole is screwed into an eight-sided metal base decorated with raised ridges. The entire piece is painted gold. .006B) Glass shade and holder. The glass shade for the lamp is the usual teardrop-shape with a gold-colored metal base. the prongs on the base are slightly flexible to allow the glass shade to be inserted or removed. There is a broad opening in the center of the metal base to allow for the wick. |
