Description |
Man's olive drab felt fedora from Marshall Fields. The hat is made of deep green felt of an unknown source. The fedora has a tall crown and a pinch-front. Black grosgrain hatband with secured bow on the left side. Inside is lined with white rayon acetate. Printed on the inside of the crown and covered with clear plastic: [flourishes and Marshall Field crest] "Marshall Field & Co. / THE STORE FOR MEN." Black leather sweatband with gold imprint: [Field's crest] "MARSHALL FIELD & COMPANY / THE STORE FOR MEN." Black silk hat bow at back. Glued to inside of sweatband is a piece of dark red cardboard: " CUSTOMIZED 6-7-8." Price tag for $5.95 lost as of 7/6/2017. |
