Description |
Embossed Easter postcard. Picture or front of card has a white background, a lilac-colored border. Within the border are a lilac-colored cross on left and a colorful picture of a white rabbit sitting in a basket with colored eggs and pink flowers alongside him. Below these images are printed the words in gold, "Best Easter Wishes". The back or message side is divided into two parts, the left side labeled, "This Side for Correspondence" and the right side labeled, "This Side for Address," both printed in green. Along the top portion are the words, "POST CARD," also printed in green. The message, written in blue ink, reads, "Wishing you a joyful Easter / Nick and Barb". The address side in blue ink reads, "Mr and Mrs Nick Borre / Glen View rd. / Gross Point / Ill." The postmark reads, "Wilmette, Ill. / Apr 20 / - PM / 1916." A one-cent stamp is pasted in the upper right corner and cancelled with a 13-star US flag mark. |
