The Masonic officer jewel for the Marshal, made of a light silver metal and attached to a gold chain. The Marshal's symbol is two interlocking batons. The Marshal is more common in the U.S. than other countries. The Marshal is in charge of the ceremonies, including the flag ceremonies in the U.S. that include the posting of the flag, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, and retiring the flag. |
