Description |
Tabletop clock (.003C) in wooden case. Metal face and hands. Two holes in clock face, apparently for winding the case; two keys, A & B. The pendulum has a steel rod and a brass disc at the end. Loose screw in case. The coiled spring is attached to a round wooden element decorated with a floral motif. The wooden piece is screwed to the back of the case. The clock was made by a relative of the donor who lived in Wilmette (donor was not sure which relative). The case has a curvilinear design carved above the door to the clock. The door has a glass front and a small brass latch on one side. |
