Description |
Small, two-part metal and black enamel pin from Mallinckrodt High School. The pin has two components attached by a miniscule goldtone chain. The pin on the left proper is a goldtone metal rectangle with a chased border. The background is black enamel. In the center is a diamond shape in gold: "THE M". The M is intertwined with THE. The chain is attached at the top. On the reverse is a vertical stickpin with thumb closure. Inscribed in cursive along on side: "V.DeM." Below, in lozenge-shape: "10K." The second component, attached to the end of the 1" chain, is also a stickpin. On the front, "38" in goldtone numerals. Mary and Veronica DeMarco were sisters who attended Mallinckrodt High School in he 1930s. See 2019.20.001 for Mary's pin. |
