Description |
Black crocheted cotton and black velveteen reticule-type purse. The purse is made to hold a small amount of items. It is made in two sections. The top is made of black cotton crochet thread in a chain stitch. Black soutache braid double drawstring at top. The lower third of the purse is made of black velveteen, cut in a circle and gathered into a circle of self-fabric at the bottom. Black tassel hangs from the center of the bottom circle. The velveteen is lined with black silk rep. Donor states that this reticule belonged to a member of her family. |
