Informational pamphlet from the Wilmette Welcomers, 1957-58. Printed on the cover: "Wilmette ' Where Your Neighbor is Your Friend / 1957-1958". Green paper front and back covers, black print throughout on white paper,16 pages total. Subscription cards to two local pharmacies (Lyman-Halden Pharmacy and Wheeler Prescription Pharmacies) are glued on the inside cover. Essentially, this is a collection of addresses, phone numbers, and names that are associated with important local administrations. They are categorized into these categories: Village Offices, Churches, Transportation, Public Schools, Recreation, Organizations (such as hospitals, library, YWCA, etc.), and Business and Professional Services (such as automobile dealers, banks, barber shops, etc.). There are two small calendars for 1957 and 1958 on the back cover of the pamphlet. |
